Do you feel…

Stuck in patterns or emotions that are keeping you from living your best life?

Desire for a deeper connection in your relationships with your partner, kids, friends, and family?

Overwhelmed and stuck in your trauma?

Hopeless that your life can have a purpose?

Are you feeling defeated, like your past is holding you back from experiencing the joy you see in others? Do changes in your life, relationships, or health bring on anxiety? Maybe you're overwhelmed by current stressors or haunted by unresolved trauma from the past.

If you're yearning for your life story, your relationships, and your emotional well-being to be described in words like purposeful, confident, hopeful, growing, and connected, then therapy with me may be the next step toward the life you want.

In our sessions, I’ll work closely with you to develop a personalized treatment plan based on your goals. I will tailor our work together in a way that honors your values, beliefs, customs, and life experiences—helping you rediscover purpose, confidence, and hope in yourself, your relationships, and your future.

MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH

I'm currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at Southern Nazarene University. I bring a trauma-informed lens to therapy and integrate narrative work to help you explore and reshape your story. My approach is centered around your desired outcomes—I’m here to walk beside you with attunement, empathy, and an intuitive understanding of how your past might be influencing your present.

Clients often share that after working with me, they feel a deep sense of relief, clarity, and renewed self-understanding. They feel truly seen and supported as we work to reframe their stories in ways that promote growth, healing, and meaningful change.

Therapy with me is

  • Safe

I aim to create an environment where you feel secure, understood, and free to express yourself without fear of judgment or repercussion.

  • Authentic

Real,  genuine, open, integrated, and authentic during our interactions together.

  • Exploratory

I will focus on improving your ability to understand yourself and the origins of the issues you face, to live a more rewarding life and have healthier relationships.

We all want to feel safe and supported in therapy, and we also want to see change. I am experienced in working with clients to see the change they desire in their lives in a variety of issues. I focus my practice on working with kids, teens, and adults, either individually, as couples, or in a family.

FAQs

  • As a graduate intern, I am currently in the final stages of my education. I am in a Master’s program and one of the requirements to graduate is to gain 600-700 hours of clinical experience under the supervision of an experienced Licensed Clinician. I meet weekly with both my University and On-Site Supervisors so it’s like you get a treatment team of clinicians reviewing the work we do together to make sure I am giving you the best quality care.

There are benefits of working with a graduate intern clinician that many do not consider. Graduate interns carry smaller caseloads and are energetic and excited as they are learning the most up-to-date training on evidence-based interventions. Graduate Interns are willing to ask questions for help and consultation, which is best practice but rare for even the most experienced clinician. Research shows that the bonds formed, and emotions experienced, along with insight and work done in session, leave many clients reporting a more positive experience with their graduate intern than with their previous experiences with more seasoned therapists.

  • As a graduate intern, I do not file with insurance. My cash pay rate is $45 per session. I have some reserved spots for sliding scale fees for clients who may need it due to financial hardship.

  • A session with me is a safe space for curiosity and exploration. Whether through writing, reflection, or practical tools, we'll uncover patterns and discover new ways forward. If Christian faith is important to you, we can integrate scripture, but the process is always yours to shape. And if you're unsure where to start, I'll help guide the way. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you recognize what no longer serves you and guiding you toward a narrative that allows for healing, growth, and new possibilities.

  • As an international adoptee, adaptation became second nature to me. From an early age, it forced me to navigate the complexities of identity, belonging, and relationships. This lifelong practice of adapting and making sense of human connection has profoundly shaped my path toward becoming a therapist. I know firsthand the wounds that disconnection can leave, and I believe in the transformative power of presence—how healing and a life towards flourishing can take root in the compassionate witness of another.

Let me be the support you need.
