Are you…
Insecure but good at hiding it?
Feeling not good enough, unworthy, unloveable?
An overachiever, self-sabotaging relationships, repeating patterns that aren’t working?
Ready to explore your past to uncover the origins of your current struggles?
Does it feel like no one understands or can handle the big feelings you are experiencing? Do you feel stuck and can’t see a path forward? Are you out of touch with your own needs and unable to see any alternatives? I can help you feel seen, known, and understood by yourself and in healthy relationships. As a team, we can develop a new set of healthy coping skills to replace the harmful habits that keep you stuck. Together, let me help you see possibilities and hope for the future.
After my own experience with grief and loss, I empathize with the struggles you are facing. My desire for you is to learn how to find the balance between meeting your own needs and loving and caring for others. I can help you overcome hurts to live a more balanced and fulfilling life.
MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH
I completed my Master of Science degree at Mid-America Christian University. I use an integrative approach that includes CBT, Humanistic or Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, Narrative therapy, and Psychodynamic or Attachment theory, among others. I like to approach therapy from an integrative approach because different approaches resonate with different people.
After therapy with me, my clients describe feeling attuned to themselves and knowing what they value, what they want, and what they need while also being able to engage others with respect and empathy. They feel improved self-esteem and clear knowledge of their personal strengths. They feel seen and understood as they have increased their ability to communicate their feelings and needs to others.
Therapy with me is
-
Holistic
Focusing on the “whole” person and integrating spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional forms of well-being, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself on all these levels.
-
Compassionate
Emphasizing the importance of compassion and self-compassion in interactions with the world and the self.
-
Empowering
Providing you with the skills to achieve your goals through awareness, discovery, responsible choices and self-determination. As life change occurs, you become capable of working within a supportive and insight-oriented framework.
We all want to feel safe and supported in therapy and we also want to see change. I am experienced in working with clients to see the change they desire in their lives in a variety of issues. I focus my practice on working with children, teens, and adults, individually, as couples, or in a family.

In Oklahoma, Candidate for Licensure means that I have completed all my education and have passed all the testing required by the Board of Behavioral Health. I describe this similar to a resident in the medical field. All licensed professional therapists in the state of Oklahoma are required to gain 3000 hours of supervised experience before they are able to be considered licensed. I currently meet weekly with a licensed and Board approved supervisor to review my caseload.

As a candidate for licensure I do not file with insurance. My cash pay rate is $125 per session. I have some reserved spots for sliding scale fees for clients who may need it due to financial hardship.
-
My sessions are client-led, meaning that the client is free to choose the direction taken in a session. A typical session with me might include working toward established goals, exploring strengths, processing past events to identify pathways forward, and developing a deeper understanding of self through exploration of personal values and relationships.

The therapeutic process has been such a blessing to me that I decided to become a therapist. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy. We all encounter life transitions or difficulties in which we may need a little extra support. After experiencing my own personal growth through therapy, I wanted to be able to walk with others as they navigated life's ups and downs.
It’s your turn to get the help you deserve.
