Have you ever said to yourself…
What is my purpose?
Why am I so afraid of failing?
I want a deeper connection with others?
How can I move past the trauma in my past?
I too have walked through many life challenges personally and alongside others, giving me understanding and empathy. I desire to help you discover what you are searching for and provide you with hope. I aim to be a therapist you can feel comfortable talking with while navigating the challenges life might bring.
I look forward to developing a therapeutic relationship in which we can set and accomplish your goals. I will speak truth but always tempered with grace and from a position of love to help empower you to grow in wellness. I hope to encourage others to grow into the person they want to be physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH
I earned my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. As a counselor, I will encourage you in your journey through life. I am honored to sit with people of any or no faith background. As a Christian counselor, I enjoy the opportunity to integrate my faith with my education and training in psychology for clients who desire integration.
In the therapy room, I operate mostly in Relational, CBT, and Solution-Focused with adult clients, while integrating aspects of play therapy with kids and teens. I am also trained in SYMBIS for couples who are wanting to look at or prepare for their marriage.
After therapy with me, my clients describe feeling accomplished and proud of their hard work as they have grown to identify their feelings and needs while also learning effective tools to manage them.

In Oklahoma, Candidate for Licensure means that I have completed all my education and have passed all the testing required by the Board of Behavioral Health. I describe this similar to a resident in the medical field. All licensed professional therapists in the state of Oklahoma are required to gain 3000 hours of supervised experience before they are able to be considered licensed. I currently meet weekly with a licensed and Board approved supervisor to review my caseload.

I have a client-centered approach to my sessions, focusing on building a trusting relationship and working collaboratively to address and achieve your goals. I offer a non-judgmental environment where you are encouraged and welcome to share freely. By asking "getting to know you" questions and discovering your specific concerns and goals, together we will determine the best treatment to achieve the goals you desire.

I pursued a career in therapy out of a genuine desire to support and empower individuals who are facing struggles and may have lost hope. My experience of sitting with and listening to those in need, combined with my desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives, led me to take proactive steps to gain the necessary knowledge and skills through a master's program. My passion lies in providing a compassionate ear for those seeking understanding and guidance in their search for meaning and fulfillment. I am committed to being present for others and helping them navigate their challenges with empathy and a dedication to making a positive impact. My wish is to continue to offer valuable support to those who rely on my presence and expertise.
