Do you desire…

Deeper connections in your relationships and marriage?

Support in challenging your inner critic?

Confidence in your boundaries with others?

Clarity in your values and how to prioritize them in your life?

Are you ready to dig deep in self-awareness to see how your patterns may impact your relationships? Do you find yourself overwhelmed by the daily demands of life, making it difficult to carve out the time and space necessary for self-discovery and an understanding of your needs and desires? Are you ready to learn the process of healing yourself?

I view your decision to engage in therapy as a courageous act of self-advocacy. I realize how rare it is in everyday relationships to have someone listen to you without judgment or agenda. I will work to empower you to continue showing up for yourself and to support your pursuit of the best life possible. I will work with you so you don’t feel alone as you explore where you are coming from and where you are going. I will empower you by breaking through the cycles of generational trauma that may exist as part of your story and relationships. I will explore your experiences, interpretations, and expectations and their impact on your relational, emotional, physical, and spiritual values and health.

MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH

I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Central Oklahoma. My favorite models include the Gottman Method, EFT, Narrative, and Internal Family Systems. My approach is centered on you, the client. I strive to remain grounded in therapeutic authenticity and unconditional positive regard during our time together. I strive to inspire you to develop a deep belief in your own strengths and potential by holding this belief for you.

After therapy with me, my clients feel safe, understood, and heard. I love celebrating with my clients as they experience the growth and transformation they are coming to therapy to achieve.

Therapy with me is

  • Safe

I aim to create an environment where you feel secure, understood, and free to express yourself without fear of judgment or repercussion.

  • Authentic

Sessions will be real,  genuine, open, integrated, and authentic during our interactions together.

  • Compassionate

I emphasize the importance of compassion and self-compassion in interactions with the world and the self.

We all want to feel safe and supported in therapy and we also want to see change. I am experienced in working with clients to see the change they desire in their lives in a variety of issues. I focus my practice on working with teens and adults, individually, as couples, or in a family.

FAQs

  • As a graduate intern, I am currently in the final stages of my education. I am in a Master’s program and one of the requirements to graduate is to gain 600-700 hours of clinical experience under the supervision of an experienced Licensed Clinician. I meet weekly with both my University and On-Site Supervisors so it’s like you get a treatment team of clinicians reviewing the work we do together to make sure I am giving you the best quality care.

There are benefits of working with a graduate intern clinician that many do not consider. Graduate interns carry smaller caseloads and are energetic and excited as they are learning the most up-to-date training on evidence-based interventions. Graduate Interns are willing to ask questions for help and consultation, which is best practice but rare for even the most experienced clinician. Research shows that the bonds formed, and emotions experienced, along with insight and work done in session, leave many clients reporting a more positive experience with their graduate intern than with their previous experiences with more seasoned therapists.

  • As a graduate intern, I do not file with insurance. My cash pay rate is $45 per session. I have some reserved spots for sliding scale fees for clients who may need it due to financial hardship.

  • My primary goal in every session is to create a space where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. I am committed to the belief that every individual not only has the desire for positive growth but also possesses the inherent capacity to achieve it. My role is to support clients in uncovering and harnessing that potential.

  • My personal experiences in therapy have been a significant source of inspiration for my decision to pursue a career as a therapist. When confronted with challenges, I often reflect on how my therapist might guide and encourage me, and over time, that encouragement has begun to replace my own negative self-talk. I consider it such an honor to now have the opportunity to be that supportive voice for others.

Let me be the support you need.
