MY BACKGROUND AND APPROACH
I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Oklahoma. While I utilize a variety of modalities of therapy, I often rely on Mindfulness, CBT, and Gestalt Therapy at the core of my sessions with clients. I tend to focus more on the here and now with clients, working with them to get the outcome they desire in counseling.
After therapy with me, my clients feel heard and validated. My clients report growth in their resilience to the changes in life and managing emotions that can get in the way of their growth.
Therapy with me is
-
Safe
I aim to create an environment where you feel secure, understood, and free to express yourself without fear of judgment or repercussion.
-
Holistic
Focusing on the “whole” person and integrating spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional forms of well-being, helping you develop a deeper understanding of yourself on all these levels.
-
Collaborative
You and I will work together to make decisions about how best to proceed with treatment founded on principles of accountability, integrity, and respect.
We all want to feel safe and supported in therapy and we also want to see change. I am experienced in working with clients to see the change they desire in their lives in a variety of issues. I focus my practice on working with children, teens, and adults.

As a graduate intern, I am currently in the final stages of my education. I am in a Master’s program and one of the requirements to graduate is to gain 600-700 hours of clinical experience under the supervision of an experienced Licensed Clinician. I meet weekly with both my University and On-Site Supervisors so it’s like you get a treatment team of clinicians reviewing the work we do together to make sure I am giving you the best quality care.
There are benefits of working with a graduate intern clinician that many do not consider. Graduate interns carry smaller caseloads and are energetic and excited as they are learning the most up-to-date training on evidence-based interventions. Graduate Interns are willing to ask questions for help and consultation, which is best practice but rare for even the most experienced clinician. Research shows that the bonds formed, and emotions experienced, along with insight and work done in session, leave many clients reporting a more positive experience with their graduate intern than with their previous experiences with more seasoned therapists.

As a graduate intern, I do not file with insurance. My cash pay rate is $45 per session. I have some reserved spots for sliding scale fees for clients who may need it due to financial hardship.

Our sessions will be a warm, inviting experience. I like to meet my clients where they find themselves on their path to mental, emotional, and spiritual healing. I hold my clients and their experiences with respect in the highest regard.

I wanted to become a therapist so that I can have a helping hand in your discovery of self, strength, and healing. I feel there is great power in learning from each other's experiences. I find great fulfillment in being open to learning from one another so that you can move toward your greatest potential and truest self.
Let me be the support you need.
